Canada’s meeting place for freelance writers and creators

Established 2010

CMG Freelance is inviting active members to join the group of delegates attending the CMG Convention in Toronto this year, May 23-25.

We have three delegate positions that will be selected through an application process. We’re especially interested in applications from our newest, non-CBC freelancers. Travel, accommodation and per diems are all covered by the Guild for any delegates attending from outside the GTA. The convention is an exciting way to be introduced to not only CMG Freelance via a caucus meeting and workshop, but the workings of the CMG on the whole at a time when media workers need more representation than ever.

If you'd like to take part, please email Branch president Don Genova at don@dongenova.com.

The deadline for delegate applications is Friday, March 14th.
