What better way to mark May Day this year than with two classic silent films about labour struggles? At the Revue Cinema, Silent Toronto presents Sergei Eisenstein's Strike (1921), to be preceded by Charlie Chaplin's short film Work (1915); both films will feature live piano accompaniment by William O'Meara.
The event is part of the Revue Cinema's and Silent Toronto's Silent Sundays series, in which silent films are screened and accompanied by live piano. Silent Toronto's programmer, Eric Veillette, also writes companion articles, such as this one about how the "talkies" put silent film musicians out of work.

Cost: Admission $12 non-members / $10 members. If not currently a member of the Revue Cinema, card-carrying union members gain admission at the regular member price.
