Ottawa media workers, freelancers and students, you're invited to a free media mixer later this month.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 20th and head down to Union Local 613 (315 Somerset St W) from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Enjoy free snacks and drinks while you chat with mentors from a wide variety of publishers and broadcasters, including the Globe and Mail, CBC, the National Observer, the National Post, the Ottawa Citizen/Sun, iPolitics, The Hill Times and the Huffington Post.

This networking event is sponsored by CWA Canada, the nation's only all-media union, which represents 17 locals across the country. CWA Canada and CMG Freelance members as well as the general public are all welcome to attend.
