Established 2010

Are you freelancing or consulting as a media producer, artist, writer, researcher, instructor, translator, technician, communications or creative worker?

Could you use some support toward better freelance opportunities and working conditions?

The Canadian Media Guild is launching a series of drop-in info sessions (in Toronto only, initially) to spread the word about the new, voluntary CMG Freelance membership that's now available to freelancers of all kinds.

This week's drop-in is tomorrow, Thursday, June 19, from 3:30 to 6:30pm at the CSI Coffee Pub (on the lower level) at 720 Bathurst Street (Annex) in downtown Toronto.

Next week's session is on Monday June 23 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the CMG office (310 Front St. West Suite 810). It will be followed by an info session about the AFBS Extended Health and Insurance Package that's available to CMG Freelance members.

For more information or for dates and locations of future drop-in info sessions, check out the CMG Freelance calendar of events.

If you're interested in coming out to a drop-in session to learn more about CMG Freelance, please RSVP with the subject line "Info Drop-in" to datejie@cmg.ca.
