Registration for the Canadian Media Guild's Freelance Survival Seminar in Toronto closed on Tuesday, but there are still a couple of spots left. If you're hoping to attend, fill out the registration form today to secure a seat for the day-long event.

The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday September 25th from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Lillian H. Smith Public Library. Speakers include Toronto writer Alison Garwood-Jones, radio producer Chris Brookes and Social Media and Marketing Strategist Amanda Lynne Ballard. If you're a CMG member, admission is free. If not, the cost is $150 -- which will also give you a year-long membership to the CMG's Freelance Branch.

And Vancouver freelancers, mark your calendars for November 1st when a similar event will take place at the Morris J. Wosk Boardroom in the downtown branch of the Vancouver Public Library. Speakers for that event will be confirmed soon and we'll post more information and a registration link as soon as it's available.
