Freelancers who are considering extended health benefits will be interested in an info session organized by CMG Freelance next Monday, June 23rd from 2 to 4 pm Eastern Time.

Freelancers in the Toronto area can attend in person in the CMG Boardroom at 310 Front St. West. The info session will also be webcast for those in other parts of the country. You can register to view the webcast at this link.

The info session will provide details about the AFBS Extended Health and Insurance Package, which is available to all CMG Freelance members. Jason Saulay from AFBS will describe the benefits package and answer questions. The information session will also be recorded and posted on the CMG Freelance website for later viewing.

Highlights of the benefits package include:

• no medical exam required to participate

• 70% reimbursement on prescription drug costs (up to $1000/yr)

• 70% reimbursement on extended health care (up to $7500/yr)

• dental coverage for basic ($300) and major ($500)

• life insurance, AD&D, travel emergency insurance
